Trance events are full of energy, and positive vibes, where a strong sense of community can often be felt amongst people. To help enhance the live experience and atmosphere, there are often lasers, strobes, smoke, ice cannons, and visual displays.
Large and small Trance music events are held across the world, and are particularly popular across Europe. Ibiza is a popular party island, known for it’s Dance and Trance music events held throughout the summer. It is home to the world’s largest night clubs, allowing legendary Trance DJs such as Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren to perform to crowds of up to 10,000 people. Holland is also renowned for its relationship with Trance and Trance events, and is home to many popular events, such as Luminosity Beach Festival and A State of Trance.
One of the best ways to experience Trance events is at the many outdoor festivals around the world. Outdoor Trance events bring the modern day experience close to the early days of Goa Trance as they add that feel of openness, freedom and the ability to express your inner self.
Outdoor Trance events or Festivals are common all over the world with great Trance events in the UK such as Global Gathering, Creamfields and Coloursfest. In The Netherlands, the summer months are taken over with highly popular events such as Luminosity and Electronic Family, not forgetting across the Atlantic with the Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival in the United States.
To experience a Trance event in the outdoors is a great thing which add more to the emotional experience provided by the music through the unique atmosphere.
Most Trance events and venues follow the same rules for entry. Dress codes at trance events are normally casual dress with trainers. In the summer, it is very common for men to wear shorts, and often during winter but it is best to check before arrival. Trance events are known to become very hot, so it is advisable to dress accordingly and always hydrate yourself throughout the night.
Trance events are know to last around 8 hours often from the 10pm till 6am with the main Trance Music Dj Sets performing from 12 midnight, so you can often expect a queue around that time. In the Netherlands, Trance events often provide lockers, while Trance events in the UK generally provide a cloakroom service. Remember some venues and Trance events operate a token service for drinks, food and other refreshments. You must remember to purchase your tokens before ordering your drinks.
